Punching through 16 gauge is impossible by hand, but if you clamp your workpiece down in a vice and and use a solid bench or anvil as support, it punches through with no problem. Use a pipe on the handle for more leverage, works much easier. Punching multiple holes together to make a slot works flawlessly and it can even deburr.

I've had several different styles of these hole punches and this is my favorite because of the little spring loaded line up nail in the center. It pushes the rubber right out after you punch the hole. All my other punches I have to use a screwdriver to get the rubber out of the punch.

First thing I did when I got it was test it out on some scrap Sterling silver. It worked marvelously! Made a nice deep punch into the metal.

This is the best center punch I've used. Bought this to use on removing a broken air cleaner stud in my truck and it did an amazing job setting me up to easily drill and extract out the broken stud. We definitely recommend.

I read reviews before purchasing this stamp set and saw numerous remarks about not having the stamps marked so you can tell which direction to use it. It just takes a few minutes to think. I got out my silver paint pen and marked the letters and numbers, right side up on the shanks. Problem solved. I know which letter/number I'm looking for and which direction to place the stamp.
